Co-Curricular Activities

Valley Adventist enjoys many co-curricular activities throughout the school year.  One popular one is our annual outdoor school.  Every year grade 5-8 students from all over Montana gather to participate in fun learning activities. We have enjoyed learning how to navigate with a compass like Lewis and Clark, making ink with berries while on the Oregon Trail, how to make a safe snow cave and fire while surviving a winter storm to name just a few.

Another activity we have enjoyed is our skiing at Blacktail Resort.  Every year we enjoy 3-4 skiing days as part of our physical education program. They take lessons in the morning and enjoy skiing with friends in the afternoons. This has been a wonderful way to introduce students to skiing.

Another fun physical education activity we have enjoyed is snow shoeing and snow mobiling.
